    Some H&R Block customers who waited until the last minute to file their taxes faced frustrating outages that began Sunday night, according to the company and Downdetector. The outage was resolved by Monday afternoon, the company’s support account on X said.

    H&R Block said it experienced technology outages on Monday, temporarily preventing thousands of last-minute tax filers from sending in their returns. An H&R Block spokeswoman said the company fixed the problem by around 4 p.m. Monday. The filing deadline for tax returns in all but two U.S. states is 11:59 p.m. on Monday.
